Daguero
Privacy policy
This policy describes how Daguero handles data in its account and private video-library app.
What we collect
We collect your account name, email address, and a password hash made with scrypt when you use password sign-in. If you choose Google sign-in, we use and store your Google account identifier, name, and verified email address for login. Google may also include a profile picture in its basic profile response; Daguero does not store that picture. We do not request mailbox or Drive access, and we do not retain Google tokens.
We also process session and security logs, and the metadata and URLs for videos in your private library.
How we use it
We use this information to authenticate you, provide your private video library, protect accounts, and operate the service. We do not sell personal information or use Google data for advertising.
Storage and security
Account and library data are stored in MongoDB on DigitalOcean in Frankfurt. The app uses HTTPS and HttpOnly session cookies that last for up to 7 days. OAuth state expires after 10 minutes. Nightly backups are kept on the same server for about a week.
Your choices
To request access, correction, or deletion of your account data, contact quentin@auteur.ai. You can remove Daguero’s Google permissions through your Google Account settings.
